Lake Macbride-John Dooley loves cool, windy, even rainy weather conditions when he goes fishing. You see, John loves to go after walleyes and when the weather has been tough, the fishing has been good. He had a good spring at Lake Macbride for walleyes, so Tuesday's warm water temperatures, and calm conditions did not bode well as we set out for walleyes. We caught a lot of largemouth bass and a nice channel cat. The walleyes did not pitch a shutout. One beautiful 15 incher took the jig tipped crawler. At the end of the day, he was released and John was hoping for a change in the weather to boost the walleye fishing.
