The 4th ranked Linn-Mar girls soccer team beat 7th ranked Kennedy 2-1 in overtime thursday night in the Breast Cancer Awareness game. Linn-Mar jumped out to a 1-nothing lead early in the second half off a corner kick, that was recorded as an own goal. Kennedy tied the game moments later on a goal from Hannah Plagman. Linn-Mar won the game in overtime on a Sarah Fathallah goal off an assist from Leandra Martins. With the win Linn-Mar raised it's record to a perfect 8-0. Kennedy falls to 6-3.
