DES MOINES (AP) — The Iowa State women's basketball team earned a No. 4 seed in the NCAA tournament and will host 13th-seeded Lehigh on Sunday.
Iowa (19-13) earned a No. 8 seed after a strong finish and will face ninth-seeded Rutgers in Stanford, California on Saturday night.
Northern Iowa also made the field after winning the Missouri Valley title. But the Panthers (17-15) will face top-seeded Nebraska in Minneapolis on Sunday night.
The Cyclones (23-7) will face the winner of Virginia-Wisconsin-Green Bay on Tuesday night if they beat Lehigh.
The Hawkeyes would likely face No. 1 seed Stanford on their home floor if they beat the Scarlet Knights.
