INDIANOLA - Los Angeles Dodgers star Casey Blake returned to Iowa to help his home town.

The third baseman was in Indianola earlier this week to donate a million dollars to the Indianola School district. Blake says he's happy to be able to help.

"Really, really feel good to be in this position and in a role that I can help and I've been very fortunate over my career, so it's been...it's been quite a ride," said Casey Blake.

The money will help improve athletic facilities and renovate schools.
