CEDAR FALLS - The Top ranked Solon Spartans turned a 3 point halftime lead in to a 31 point blowout win.
Solon beat Boyden Hull-Rock Valley 38-7 to win the class 2A state football title for the 3rd straight year.
The Spartans become the first 2A team ever to win 3 straight championships.
Future Hawkeye James Morris led the way with 214 yards rushing and 4 TD's. QB Wes Sleeper threw for 106 yards and a TD, and the defense dominated as usual.
Solon has won 41 straight games. Their last loss cam back in the 2006 state title game.
