Linn-Mar sophomore Brooklynn Kascel had never run in a cross country meet in her life untill this season. It didn't take long for Brooklynn to catch on, and Kascel finished fifth place at the 4a state cross country meet. Brooklynn helped her team to the best finish in school history at 7th place.
