New York-Former Iowa football coach Hayden Fry had nothing but nice things to say about former Hawkeye linebacker Larry Station who was named to the college football hall of fame.

Fry says he had great football instincts and was a great leader.

He remembered specifically Station's big tackle against Michigan in the 1985, 1-2 game. It was a tackle that stopped a Michigan drive and gave Iowa a chance to win the game.
