CEDAR RAPIDS, IA - 18 year old Cedar Rapids native Landon Cassill is a member of the Hendrick Motorsports team and teammates with Jimmie Johnson, Jeff Gordon, and Dale Earnhardt Jr.
2007 was Cassill's 1st year as a professional Nascar driver, as he drove in 6 Busch series races. He earned just over $117,000 in prize money; and while his average finish was just 26th Landon says the experience he gained will benefit him in 2008.
Cassill plans on racing in at least 19 races next year in the #5 Army National Guard car on the new Nationwide Series.
