IOWA CITY (AP) - Iowa coach Kirk Ferentz talks Tuesday about the Hawkeyes' plans for Minnesota at Kinnick Stadium on Saturday.

On the line is the Floyd of Rosedale pig trophy and a chance for Iowa to get bowl eligible.

The Hawkeyes are 5-5 overall and 3-4 in the Big Ten. Iowa is coming off a 28-17 victory against Northwestern in another game that featured a bad start and brilliant finish for the Hawkeyes.

Minnesota, which has lost eight straight games, is 1-9 and 0-6. The Gophers, under first-year coach Tim Brewster, lost to Illinois 44-17 last week.

Iowa finishes the season on November 17th against nonconference Western Michigan.
