Sitting Out RAGBRAI to Help Flood Victims

By Becky Ogann

TAMA COUNTY - After a trip of more than 70 miles, thousands of RAGBRAI riders are resting up tonight in the towns of Tama and Toledo.

Wednesday night is the fourth overnight stop on the RAGBRAI route and the first in eastern Iowa. Wednesday's trek from Ames to Tama-Toledo was a challenging one.

Watch the video, as KCRG-TV9's John Campbell introduces us to one man who is sitting out this year's trip, for a good reason.

On Thursday, RAGBRAI riders will make their way to North Liberty.
