Our Town Iowa City - Room With a View
IOWA CITY - We are going to take a tour of the Plaza Towers, home to Hotel Vetro. Vetro means glass in Italian. We're going to see a lot of glass, and the home of the developer who lives there.
Surrounded by glass windows and furnishings with a worldly touch, this penthouse apartment has more than great views to offer. It's home to Iowa City developers Marc Moen and Bobby Jet.
Designed with versatility in mind this luxury apartment gives you room to breathe, or if you need more privacy, retractable walls. The entire space can be evenly divided, allowing another guest their own sanctuary.
A 1,100 square foot unit starts around $425,000 dollars, a high price for some but much cheaper than you might pay in a larger city.
After our tour inside it was time to check out the view. From the penthouse balcony you can see a 360-degree view of downtown Iowa City.
"The city has been very critical to our success. They've been very involved in this project, both helping us get the project off the ground and financially helpful."
Thank you so much for giving me the grand tour, and sharing with me how you created such a great place
