DYSART, Iowa-- In Dysart, when the H.A.T. Team is around, there's no chance of getting lost or going hungry. The H.A.T. Team is a group of six ladies who between them have 300 years of experience living in the town. They give tours to groups of both men and women with the goal of bringing business into the many downtown shops.
"It has come alive. I mean, we are keeping it going, but not just us it's everybody working together," said one H.A.T Team member.
New business owner Mike Svoboda owns the Iowa Country Store and said he has seen the influence of the H.A.T. Team.
"Last year they brought 42 tour busses to town and that's what small business needs. It needs somebody out there working for them and that was one of the big reasons why we came here," said Svoboda.
The team has matching outfits, topped off with their signature blue hat. The ladies say it was a miracle to find an outfit they all agreed on. They also agree on what they do.
"We all feel very honored to be representing Dysart, we love it. I love it," said another H.A.T. Team member.
