Clinton to Run Television Ads in Iowa, Her First of the Presidential Campaign

By Becky Ogann

DES MOINES (AP) - Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Rodham Clinton is hitting the air waves in Iowa.

A source familiar with the campaign's strategy told The Associated Press that Clinton is launching an initial round of TV ads in Iowa, where polls show her in a close race with Barack Obama and John Edwards.

Former Governor Tom Vilsack, who endorsed Clinton's bid after dropping out of the 2008 race, will unveil the new commercials at a news conference in Des Moines Monday.
