McCain Swtiches Stance on Immigration

By Bree'Ann Hildreth

Simpsonville, SC (AP) - Arizona Senator John McCain spent some time with supporters in South Carolina this weekend.

The republican shifted his stance on immigration. Earlier this year he argued that the U.S. needs to combine border security efforts with a temporary worker program, and an eventual path to citizenship for illegal immigrants.

McCain now says his priority is to secure borders and the rest will come later.
