CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - Democratic Representative for Iowa's Second District, Dave Loebsack, detailed a new bill package on the KCRG-TV9 Morning News. The bills are part of a bipartisan effort to make government works more efficiently.

Loebsack describes the bills as "trying to do what most of us have wanted to do since we got to Congress."

He adds the bills will hopefully act as a way for both Houses to cross party lines more often to work on behalf of constituents from around the nation. In all 78 lawmakers have signed on to take part in this proposal.
