Economics Professor Details Impacts of Partial Government Shutdown

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - Both the House and the Senate passed a bill that raised the debt ceiling and ended the partial government shutdown Wednesday night. But, the bill is only a temporary fix.

The debate on Capitol Hill continues as lawmakers argue what impact the 16 day shutdown really had. We sat down with Coe College Associate Professor of Economics Rick Eichhorn to find out what that impact was, and how the economy will react.
