Charges Filed Against Woman Found Naked in Public After Car Accident

IOWA CITY, Iowa — Charges have been filed against a Brighton woman who police allegedly found naked in public after she crashed her vehicle into an Iowa City building in March.
According to a criminal complaint, Amber D. Dittrich, 21, drove off the roadway and hit a building located at 1000 Clinton Street on March 30, 2010.
After the crash, officers allegedly found Dittrich at the intersection of McCollister Boulevard and Old Highway 218 with no clothes on.
Police said Dittrich had an injury to her ankle and was taken to the hospital for the injury. It was later requested that Dittrich take a urine sample which came back positive for marijuana.
Dittrich has been charged with operating while intoxicated for the incident.
