Jill Kasparie joined the KCRG-TV9 News Team in June 2011. She is thrilled to share the morning with Eastern Iowa viewers on the KCRG early morning show, bringing everyone the most up to date information to start the day.
Prior to coming to Cedar Rapids, she worked for three years at KTVO-TV3 in Ottumwa, Iowa, and the last two years with KAAL-TV6 in Rochester, Minnesota. Jill graduated Summa Cum Laude from Truman State University in 2006.
This morning reporter is a Midwestern girl at heart, enjoying every minute of telling the stories of the people of this area. She is also proud to be part of such a hard-working news team at KCRG.
In her free time Jill enjoys spending time with her family, especially her twin sister who works in Iowa news as well. She is also always up for a jog or reading a good book.
