Alyson Hunt is a producer and reporter for KCRG-TV9 News. She joined the team and began working the morning and night shows in May of 2009.

After going to Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia - and producing the nightly news for WFXR in Roanoke, Alyson moved back to her beloved Midwest.

Alyson grew up north of Chicago and developed a passion for watching the news long before other children flipped on the television in search of cartoons.

During college, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism, Alyson interned at FOX News Chicago.

Back in the Midwest after a stint in Virginia, Alyson finds reporting in eastern Iowa a refreshing and energizing experience and looks forward to talking with you. If you have a story idea, shoot her an e-mail.
