Woman Found Guilty of Involuntary Manslaughter, Child Endangerment
CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - A Cedar Rapids woman was found guilty of of involuntary manslaughter by a Linn County jury Monday morning.
Amy Parmer was also found guilty of child endangerment resulting in death.
Parmer was accused in the death of 17-month-old Kamryn Schlitter, who died of blunt force head injuries in 2010.
Jurors started deliberating last Tuesday following about three weeks of testimony.
