Woman Convicted of Child Endangerment
INDEPENDENCE, Iowa (AP) — A 51-year-old eastern Iowa woman has been convicted of child endangerment.
The Waterloo-Cedar Falls Courier says Wendy Brown, of Winthrop, was convicted Monday after a four-day trial in Buchanan County District Court.
Authorities say Brown deprived a child of food, clothing, shelter, health care or supervision, harming the child's mental, emotional or physical health. The abuse took place between Jan. 1 and March 25, 2012.
