Toddler Drowns in Swimming Pool
SPRINGVILLE, Iowa - A two year old toddler has died after drowning in the family pool.
Aaron Rickels was being pulled from the family pool when rescue workers arrived to the home at 2:27 p.m. on Saturday. The child was flown to St. Lukes hospital via Life Guard Helicopter and was pronounced dead. The home is located on 989 County Home Road in Springville. The Springville Fire Department, North Linn Area Ambulance, Linn County Conservation Officers, Linn County Rescue 57 and Linn County Deputies all responded to the call. This incident will remains under investigation by the Linn County Sheriff's Office, although it appears to be an accidental drowning. Most Popular |
