West Liberty Issues Boil Order

By Ellen Kurt

WEST LIBERTY, Iowa - West Liberty city officials have ordered residents to boil all tap water.

The advisory is due to pressure being lost as crews relocate the water main that feeds the water tower. This is in preparation for the water plant expansion. The boil order is precautionary. There has been no bacteria discovered in the water.

Water samples will be tested Monday, but residents should continue to boil water until further notice.

For further information about the advisory, customers can call City Hall at (319) 627-2418.
