West Liberty Fire Damages Apartment

WEST LIBERTY, Iowa - A West Liberty apartment with no working smoke detectors caught fire Saturday morning.

Fire crews responded at 10:44 a.m., treating two people on the scene for smoke inhalation.

The blaze was contained to a single building on the 100 block of E. 3rd St. in West Liberty

Fire investigators will begin looking into the cause of the blaze Sunday morning.
