DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) - A West Des Moines man is happy he won the wrong game.

The Des Moines Register says Arturo Hernandez cashed in his $1 million winning ticket Thursday in the Iowa Lottery's Lifetime Riches scratch-off game.

The 23-year-old says he asked a convenience store clerk for a couple of $20 scratch tickets. She sold him the tickets, but they were for a game that was different from the game Hernandez wanted to play.

Hernandez says he later realized the tickets were for the wrong game, but he decided to keep and play them anyway.

He says the money can help his family with moving costs for the family's El Ray Burritos restaurant.
