Waterloo Police Investigate Stabbing

    WATERLOO, Iowa - Waterloo police say a man was taken into surgery for life threatening injuries after he was stabbed several times in the back.

    Police were called to Covenant Hospital for a reported stabbing at 2:38 p.m. Thursday. During their investigation, police found the victim, 27-year-old Ramell McQueen was stabbed during a fight outside 1240 Downing Court.

    Police have arrested 25-year-old Damarus Taylor of Waterloo in connection to the stabbing. He's been charged with willful injury.
