WATERLOO, Iowa - Police are looking for whomever stabbed a 41-year Waterloo woman Tuesday night.
About 9:05 p.m., Police responded to 422 Gable St. on the report of a large fight and possible gun shots.
Police, then, went to a home at 922 Columbia St. where they found Christine Atkins, the resident of the home, with stab wounds to the stomach. That injury resulted from the Gable St. fight. She was taken to Allen Hospital and is expected to survive.
Officials say they were on the scene for about an hour and a half. They are still investigating what led up to the fight.
