Waterloo Police Investigate Attempted Abduction
WATERLOO, Iowa - Police in Waterloo are investigating an attempted abduction on Wednesday morning.
According to police, it happened at about 8 a.m. near the intersection of Argyle Street and Iowa Street. A 14-year-old girl was walking to school when she approached a group of five males.
Two of the males grabbed her and tried to drag her towards an abandoned house. The girl pulled away from them and ran to East High School where she reported the incident to authorities.
Waterloo Police immediately checked the area for the men, but they were not located.
Police continue to investigate the incident.
