CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (AP) — President Barack Obama will return to Iowa for an event in Cedar Rapids the day after his second debate with Republican nominee Mitt Romney.

Obama's campaign announced Friday that the Democrat will campaign Wednesday in Cedar Rapids as part of a trip that will also include a stop in Athens, Ohio. Obama will campaign on Thursday in Manchester, N.H.

The events follow a Tuesday night debate at Hofstra University in Hempstead, N.Y.

Obama's campaign says it will release more details about the Cedar Rapids event later.

The visit will follow an Iowa rally by Romney on Oct. 9 at a farm in Van Meter.
