IOWA CITY, Iowa - One year after the University of Iowa broke its enrollment record, officials are preparing for another crowded year.

Officials say they're expecting another large enrollment, but can't yet say how much because the official number isn't calculated until a couple weeks into the semester. Last year that number was nearly 31,500.

To handle the anticipated crowd of students, the University has leased a total of four buildings in Iowa City to serve as housing to students who register for housing the latest. In the past the University only leased two buildings.

"I can assure you no student will be without a place to live," said Tom Rocklin, VP of student life.

Enrollment numbers will likely continue to peak as the University prepares to open a new 500 student dormitory in 2015.
