Tyson Recalling Chicken Nuggets Sold at Sam's Club

WASHINGTON, DC - Tyson Foods, Inc. is recalling more than 75,000 pounds of chicken nuggets after some customers reported finding small pieces of plastic in their food.

The recall includes five-pound bags of frozen, white meat chicken nuggets sold at Sam's Club stores across the country.

The bags have a "Best if Used By" date of "Jan 26 2015" or Feb 16 2015." The manufacturer codes "0264SDL0315 through 19" and "0474SDL0311 through 14" can also be found on the bags.

The product bags bear the establishment number "P-13556."

The U.S. Department of Agriculture said the problem was traced to a product scraper inside a blending machine.

Tyson said it has received reports of minor oral injury associated with eating the chicken nuggets.
