BOONE, Iowa (AP) — Two people were killed in a weekend crash on U.S. Highway 30 in central Iowa.

The Nebraska State Patrol says 77-year-old Dorothy Peter and 80-year-old Delbert Peter, both of Boone, died from injuries sustained in the crash shortly after 3 p.m. Saturday.

An accident report says 15-year-old Daniel Peter of Ames was driving an SUV west and changing lanes to make a left turn. It says a Hummer Limo driven by John Barker Jr. of Des Moines "came into contact" with the SUV.

Peter's SUV went off the road and rolled, ejecting one of the passengers. The limo came to rest in the median.

Two other people, 28-year-old Danielle Snook of Davenport and 24-year-old Loyd Hise of Guthrie Center were taken to a Des Moines hospital.

Authorities are still investigating.
