Two Arrested on Drug Charges in Chickasaw CountyThe Waterloo-Cedar Falls Courier
LAWLER, Iowa - Three men are facing charges after authorities searched a home late Monday in Chickasaw County.
William Hruska Jr., 31, is accused of manufacturing methamphetamine and two counts of possession of precursors, lithium and pseudoephedrine, which are all felonies. He is also charged with possession of meth and drug paraphernalia, which are misdemeanors. Brian Hruska, 28, is facing the same charges. In addition, he is accused of keeping a dwelling for drug use and possession of marijuana, both misdemeanors. Officers also arrested Lawrence Hruska, 51, after he stopped at the residence to see what law enforcement officials were doing, according to the Chickasaw County Sheriff’s Office. He is charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated and with having an open container, both misdemeanors. Authorities, including members of the Northeast Iowa Drug Task Force, executed a search warrant about 8:45 p.m. at 208 N. Lincoln St. in Lawler. Brian Hruska lives at that address, according to the sheriff’s office. William Hruska Jr. and Lawrence Hruska also live in Lawler. Lawrence Hruska was released from jail on his own recognizance.
