Top House Agriculture Democrat Plans Iowa Meeting

IOWA CITY, Iowa (AP) - Minnesota Rep. Collin Peterson and Iowa Rep. Dave Loebsack will join for a farm bill forum this weekend in Iowa City.

Peterson is the top Democrat on the House Agriculture Committee.

He and Loebsack say in a news release they will discuss where the farm bill stands and hear questions and comments from agriculture community leaders.

The forum will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Johnson County ISU Extension Office in Iowa City.
