CLINTON, Iowa (AP) — Authorities have released the names of the three people who were killed in the head-on collision. The accident occurred last Friday on U.S. Highway 67 between Sabula and Clinton in Clinton County.

The Clinton County Sheriff's Office on Monday identified the victims as 30-year-old Devon Mapp, his girlfriend, 24-year-old Brittany McGee and their child, 5-month-old Da' Marion Mapp. The sheriff's office says they recently moved to Clinton from Minneapolis.

Officials say Mapp was passing another vehicle on a hill in a no-passing zone and collided head-on with an oncoming semitrailer.

The truck driver wasn't hurt.
