Three People Killed In Same House Since November, Sioux City Police Say

SIOUX CITY, Iowa (AP) — Sioux City police are looking for a suspect in a weekend killing at a home where two other people have been killed in the past three months.

Officers say 32-year-old Rodney Houston, of Sioux City, was found Saturday with a fatal gunshot wound to the chest. Another man, 25-year-old Jorge Chavez, also of Sioux City, was shot in the leg.

Authorities say they're looking for a man but didn't release a name.

The Sioux City Journal reports the shooting occurred at a house on the city's west side where two people were shot to death and a third person was injured in early November. A man faces first-degree murder charges in that case.

The newspaper reports police do not believe the two shootings, plus other recent violence, are related.
