Three People Charged in Black Hawk County Drug Investigation

WATERLOO, Iowa - Three Waterloo men face meth charges.
According to the Black Hawk County Sheriff's Office, deputies stopped a car in Waterloo Thursday morning and discovered "a quantity" of meth and marijuana. The discovery led police to serve a search warrant at 948 Kern St. in Waterloo. Three men were charged in connection with the traffic stop and warrant.
Jason Brunning, 31, was charged with possession of stolen property, trafficking stolen weapons, possession of marijuana and possession of methamphetamine.
Justin Schmitt, 32, was charged with possession of stolen property, possession of a firearm as a felon, trafficking stolen weapons, possession of marijuana with intent to deliver, possession of methamphetamine and child endangerment.
Timothy Grote, 43, was charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver.
