CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - Police have arrested an Eastern Iowa Airport passenger after TSA found a loaded gun in his carry-on bag.

The TSA said it found the .25 caliber Beretta 95ES Thursday evening loaded with 10 rounds.

Eastern Iowa Airport’s Heather Wilson tells KCRG that TSA told them the gun was concealed in the suitcase under the flap between the clothes and the carry-on handles that retract into the bag. Wilson said the gun was wedged between the bars and the man was trying to carry the bag onto the plane.

Police took the gun and arrested the man on a charge of carrying a concealed weapon without a permit. His name has not been released.

TSA said his is the second fire arm agents have found during screening at the Eastern Iowa Airport this year.
