Suspect Sought in Pizza Hut Robbery in Cedar Rapids

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - Police continue to investigate an armed robbery at a Pizza Hut carry-out location in Cedar Rapids.
Officers responded around 1:10 a.m. Sunday to 423 Edgewood Rd. NW after a man came into the store, displayed a handgun and demanded money. The man got an undisclosed amount of cash and ran away, police said. No injuries were reported in the incident.
The suspect was described as a slender black man, around 5-foot-8, wearing a dark-colored coat and pants, police said. His face also was covered.
