Stabbing Interrupts Des Moines Wedding ReceptionKCCI.com
DES MOINES, Iowa - A stabbing interrupted a wedding reception Saturday night in Des Moines, police said.
Police were called to the Brew Haus bar at 830 McKinley Ave., where they found a man who had been stabbed twice in the stomach. A witness told Newschannel 8 that his son was the one stabbed. He said that two men were trying to sell marijuana to people inside the bar. He said his son shoved one of the men, who responded by pulling a knife. The victim is the brother of the bride and was taken to the hospital. The attacker did not get very far.
