Snow Causes Some Trouble On Interstates In Johnson County

IOWA CITY, Iowa - Continued snow showers caused some trouble on Interstate 80 and 380 in Johnson County Wednesday morning.

Travelers on Interstate 80 reported some delays around the Coral Ridge Mall at about 10 a.m.. Initial reports a vehicle traveling eastbound had gone into the ditch, causing the delay.

Minor delays were also reported on Interstate 380. Interstate traffic cameras showed several cars in the ditch between Iowa City and Cedar Rapids.

Emergency crews had responded to multiple traffic issues on I-380 in Johnson County as the snow began tapering off shortly after 10:30 a.m.
