A look at the things going on in Eastern Iowa that you may want to check out.
The Nadas, Friday, July 30
RAGBRAI riders have been going strong all week, but the action is only just beginning on the east side of the state. The cyclists will roll into Manchester for an overnight stay tomorrow night, and the music on deck is sure to keep riders (and non-riders) entertained. Des Moines rockers The Nadas will take the stage at 9 p.m. Opening acts by the Large Midgets and Ali Beck begin at 4 p.m.. Whether you pedal your way there or not, you’re sure to enjoy the music and the infamous RAGBRAI fun.
9 p.m. Friday (07/30), downtown Manchester, www.manchesterragbrai.com.

Millstream Brew-aua Beach Party
Saturday, July 31
Nothing seems to quell the heat quite like a cold summer brew. Enjoy one (or more) at a beach party this weekend. This isn’t your average luau. It’s in the heart of Amana at Millstream Brew. Bring your favorite beach chair, towel and attire and head out to the brewery Saturday afternoon. Millstream will provide the water, sand, beach balls, games, grilled food, music and, of course, beer. All you have to do is show up.
