Sioux City Authorities Arrest Suspect in Burned Body Case
SIOUX CITY, Iowa (AP) - Authorities have captured a 20-year-old man suspected of killing an Iowa man and dumping his body in South Dakota.
Sioux City police say a phone tip Thursday led to the arrest of Martin Castellanos. He was arrested without incident in Sioux City.
Police Chief Doug Young said at a news conference that authorities received information that a vehicle linked to Castellanos was nearby.
Young said officials don't believe Castellanos left Sioux City during the intense manhunt for him. He is suspected of fatally shooting 20-year-old Adrian Rojas-Hernandez on Sunday in Sioux City. Hernandez's partially burned body was found later that day in a ditch in South Dakota.
The Sioux City Journal reports (http://bit.ly/1aXnZSH ) detectives are interviewing Castellanos. Crime scene technicians are processing the vehicle.
