DUBUQUE COUNTY, Iowa - The Dubuque County Sheriff's Office has identified the man driving a motorcycle who was injured in a crash on Monday. Officials say 44-year-old Jeffrey Ernzen of Epworth was thrown from his bike in the crash.

The Sheriff's Office, Iowa State Patrol and Epworth Fire and AMbulance responded to the crash at 1:11 p.m. Monday. Ernzen was taken to Mercy hospital before he was flown to the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. We are working on finding out his condition.

The investigation shows that 27-year-old Joseph Manos of Dubuque was driving westbound on Highway 20 when he attempted to turn south onto Swiss Valley Road. He hit Ernzen who was driving eastbound on his motorcycle. Ernzen's motorcycle then hit a third vehicle stopped at the intersection.

Neither of the other two drivers were injured, and the crash is still under investigation.
