JACKSON COUNTY, Iowa - The Jackson County Sheriff's department said snowy conditions Thursday morning contributed to a crash on Highway 61 north of Macquoketa.

A Jackson County sheriff's deputy said a snow plow was southbound in the left lane when a semi truck hit it. The semi driver said he couldn't see the plow in the white out conditions.

No injuries were reported.
