WATERLOO, Iowa- A man was stabbed Thursday in an apartment and police believe it is connected to another stabbing in Waterloo that happened Wednesday
Waterloo Police responded to the stabbing around 5:30 p.m. to 702 W Mullan Avenue Apt. 3. Police say the man received non-life threatening wounds after being hit in the head and cut on his wrist. Police are not releasing any names of the suspects or the victim.
This is the second stabbing in two days at the apartment. Tina Queen Boldon-Grafton, 42, was arrested Wednesday morning for two counts of aggravated domestic assault.
The arrest came after her husband of about two months, Jeffrey Grafton Sr., 52, was stabbed. Police said Grafton showed up at the Kwik Star on West Fourth Street bleeding heavily from his head at about 12:35 a.m. Wednesday.
Grafton said, during the investigation, his wife stabbed him with a butchers knife in the forehead.
Police believe the two stabbings are connected.
