CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - Black Hawk County authorities had to use the jaws of life to rescue a Cedar Rapids woman involved in a single-vehicle crash Saturday afternoon.

Deputies said it happened about 1:15 p.m. on northbound I-380 near mile marker 63 -- that's near the Gilbertville Exit.

Investigators said 21-year-old Alexandra Bissell lost control of an SUV and ran off the road. Her vehicle rolled at least twice before coming to rest on its top in the east ditch.

An ambulance took Bissell to a Waterloo hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. The crash remains under investigation.
