Robot Rumble at UNI

By Jay Knoll

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa - Get ready to rumble! The University of Northern Iowa hosted its seventh annual mini-Sumo Robotics Competition Thursday. More than 25 UNI students competed in the elimination tournament.

The creators of these mini sumo wrestlers battled each other to prove who had the best computer programming skills. KCRG photo journalist Michael Griffith found out who was really king of the ring. For the second year in a row, Robot Gizmo came out the victor.
