Ride For The Kids in Dubuque

DUBUQUE, Iowa - The Fourth Annual Ride for the Kids took place in Dubuque Saturday, with the eventual path taking the riders through Farley, Bernard, Lamotte and Bellevue.
Participants in the ride will be help raise money for children suffering from Pediatric Brain Tumors and Heart Defects.
Ride for the Kids was created in 2009, after the passing of Sarah Reiss who was diagnosed with a cancerous brain tumor.
"It's very near and dear to our hearts and if we can keep one family from going through what we did with loosing Sarah, then that's our goal. " Said Julie Reiss, Mother of Sarah and Founder of Ride For The Kids.
All donations from the event will be donated to the University of Iowa Children's Hospital Pediatric Brain Tumor and Heart Defects research center
