Reward Offered for Info in Des Moines Homicide Case
DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) - Iowa authorities are offering a reward of up to $4,000 for information leading to an arrest and prosecution for an April shooting outside a Des Moines area strip club that left a Florida man dead.
The Polk County Sheriff's Office announced the reward Wednesday, saying it far exceeded the normal reward of $1,000 due to a donation from someone who requested the offer be made in this case.
The shooting happened April 28 outside Big Earl's Gold Mine club, just north of Des Moines.
Authorities found 23-year-old Reginald Renard Bryan Jr., of Orange City, Fla., with a gunshot wound. He died later at a Des Moines hospital.
More than 300 people were gathered outside the strip club when the shooting occurred.
Another man was shot in the leg.
